Sudden swelling is not normal ... Call your DR

It could be preeclampsia or blood poisoning, which could lead to serious problems. If so, the child must go!

Symptoms.
Signs of preeclampsia include high blood pressure (hypertension) and the presence of excess protein in the urine (proteinuria) after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Excess protein is associated with kidney problems. Your doctor can identify these signs of pre-eclampsia in one of her regular prenatal visits.

Other signs and symptoms of preeclampsia - which can develop gradually or suddenly meet, which often include in the final weeks of pregnancy -:

* Severe headache
* Changes in vision, including temporary loss of vision, blurred vision or sensitivity to light
* Upper abdominal pain, usually in the right costal
* Nausea or vomiting
* Dizziness
* Decreased urine output
* Sudden weight gain, usually about 2 pounds per week

Swelling (edema), especially in the FAEC and hands, often accompanies preeclampsia as well. Inflammation is not considered a reliable sign of preeclampsia, however, because it also occurs in many normal pregnancies.

Call your doctor as soon as possible !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have this case with my last pgcy .. I wait and wait and in time I called the doctor, "road Sweeling couldnt because of the past to move to the knees.

These are the classic signs of preeclampsia, so that you know is not good for the baby. If your doctor is not called immediately, and then go to L & D.

My guess is that you induced or require csection on the safe side.

Good luck to you.

You should immediately consult a doctor. There is no such thing as blood poisoning and is very dangerous for you and your baby. If you are unsure, go to the emergency room. The symptoms that you describe the way that the toxins could be based on your system. Please consult a doctor immediately for reasons you and your child!

Contact your midwife you now!
Swelling of a sudden and severe headache could be the start of pre-eclampsia. The condition is too serious not to monitor. Talk with whom is on call to L & D and get their advice. I suppose you want to enter
Call! You may have reason for concern.

I went to the emergency room doctor on the side of the road. The symptoms are the classic signs of preeclampsia.

In this phase, which probably induce labor, because the only cure for this disease is very dangerous to the child's birth.

Good luck.
